Big Brother/Something Borrowed

So tonight was the season finale of Big Brother 11! I absolutely love how it turned out! Jordan winning 1st place and Jeff winning America's favorite player! I couldn't have asked for it to turn out any better! Jordan won with a vote of 5-2! Jesse, Lydia, Jeff, Michelle, and America all voted for Jordan. Russell and Kevin voted for Natalie. I LOVED this season.....I can't wait until the next one....maybe I should apply!

I finally finished the book Something Borrowed! It was really good! It ended how I wanted it to! The story is about Rachel, the main character, who sleeps with her best friends fiance(Dex). Her best friend, Darcy, is outgoing, pretty, and has a banging body....everything Rachel is not. It has highs and lows and I really could relate to the main character! It reminded me a lot of myself and my best friend. It's a good read.

I have already started reading the second book, Something Blue. I don't know how I am going to like it because it is another persons perspective. I let you know!

On a side note.....I just bought concert tickets to a show that is going to be Connecticut! That's about 14hrs away from where I live! so.....road trip!!LOL....It's really close to NYC so we might go there for a day. What should we do? Help! Leave me a comment letting me know! :)

Crazy night!

Yesterday was my friends 24th birthday! It was fun....a bunch of people went to her apartment and hung out and drank a little. After, we all decided to go out.......After returning from going out(a little drunk) my friend had lost her house key! We were locked out a 3am! It was horrible! All my stuff was in her apartment(purse, keys, etc)! So we had to drive to one of her friends houses who lives a county away to get her extra key! We didn't get in her place until 5am! It was horrible! Complete buzz kill! lol

Anyway, on another note tomorrow I will be seeing a movie! Don't know which one yet! I will be sure to tell you all about it on Tuesday!

Life in the movie business...

Hey!
So I worked the past two day and have to work tomorrow(Friday) and Saturday. The thing with being a manager in a movie theatre you work weird schedules. As much as I enjoy working where I do, I would love to have a 9-5 Monday through Friday job! Sometimes I work 10am-6pm and other days I work 6pm-2am. My schedule is so inconsistent!--Something else! One day we can be dead-er than a door nail and then the next we can be pulling our hair out b/c we are so busy! Gosh! It sounds like I hate my job doesn't it? But really, I do love it! Here are some of the things I love....seeing movies before they release to the public, getting to see/meet actors/actresses, seeing them for free, free popcorn and drinks while I work, the atmosphere, most of my co-workers:), and of course the paycheck!

So what's to come? (kinda off topic!)
I am going to finish reading Something Borrowed and review it on here
more working and movie reviews!
In November my theatre is going to have an advance screening of New Moon where 1 or 2 of the actors will be coming!
In December I will be going to Disney World! I can't wait!!
and much much more!.......

First Blog/My job

Hello everyone! My name is Jessica and I plan on posting a blog on Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Sundays! I hope you all will enjoy it and I look forward to sharing my life and what I think about movies, TV, and books with you!

About me: I am an assistant manager at a movie theatre and love my job! I see movies atleast 2 times a week....most of the time more! I love to watch movies, mostly b/c I get to see them for free! I love to read. Right now I am reading Something borrowed by Emily Giffin. I am almost finished with it, I will be sure to tell you what I think about it when I'm finished! I am single. I just got out of a 4 year relationship and I am loving being single for the time being!

The last movie I saw was "All About Steve". I was really looking forward to the movie, however it kind of let me down! I thought it was going to be really funny because it has Sandra Bullock in it!.....Well, I was wrong. Of course it had a few laughs, but most of the funny parts were in the trailer. I am still glad I watched it though, I had a good meaning behind it!
